Noodle Shorts 3

If there was ever a restaurant with my name on it! If only I hadn't already eaten dim sum that day, I would surely have gone to Manchester's BBQ Handmade Noodles King.

  2. Handmade by the King. I'm a tad disappointed you never ate there.

  3. catty/Mzungu - I am definitely going here the next time I visit Manchester. As well as the hand-pulled noodles, I want to try their BBQ skewers too!

  4. Have been looking for hand made noodles in Manchester, thanks for this post. Wandered round Chinatown 'til I found it earlier this evening. Had hand made noodles with braised beef in spicy soup. Was very good.

  5. Dave - welcome! Glad to hear that this place is the business! I must definitely pay a visit when I'm next in Manchester. That said, there seem to be quite a few interesting Chinese places opening up in Manchester, both inside and outside of Chinatown.

  6. Yep, I can recommend Hunan for Hunanese and Middle Kingdom or Red Chilli for Sichuan. All three as good as I've had in London. We also have passable Korean (Baekdu) and Vietnamese (Vnam Cafe), although I've had better in London.
